That one was easy – and once again luck played a big part in helping me capture the action – and today the emotion of the World Road Cycling Championships in Montreal Canada.
Moments after winning the race, Brandon McNulty grabbed his country’s flag and beelined it to his girlfriend… standing right beside me.
I just let the camera roll and recorded one of life’s magic moments as it played out in real time.
I’ll let the video cover the rest of this post.
It’s 5:125 in the press room here in Montreal, I’ve just shaken hands with the Italian RAI camera crew who are seated next to me, and after 4 amazing days of covering my first Worlds, I’m signing off for now, jumping onto one of the city rental bikes and booking it back to my holel for a shower and negroni.
Thanks to everyone for following along here, on the PEZ Instagram and Youtube channels, and there’s more to come when I get back to PEZ HQ.
Cheers – and merci!
Richard
