Out of the gate, Scott just released their next generation Addict Gravel bike, and right behind that comes the newest gravel wheels from Miche with a 30mm internal width. CrankPal, a Milanese startup promises predictive maintenance when your bike needs it, not when the calendar says. DT Swiss in collaboration with WAHOO are on the scene with a speed sensor designed to retain the aesthetic of their hubs. MAAP has dropped a new clothing collection designed for the fall riding season. And, rounding out this week, ROUVY is now fully compatible with Zwift hardware. Let’s go, Pez Fans!!
Scott Addict Gravel

Tech N Spec
With more clearance, you’ve got more freedom to go more places. Along that way, Scott dialed in a lot more comfort compared to the previous generation. Importantly, they also refined the geometry to make sure handling wasn’t compromised. This bike is ready for any adventure you are ready for.
More Clearance, More Freedom
Tire clearance jumps to 57mm — 2.2-inch MTB rubber will run comfortably on the new Addict Gravel. It ships with 50mm Schwalbe G-One RX PRO Evolution tires stock. Scott got there partly with an exceptionally thin, “threadlike” chainstay—down to 8.5mm at its slimmest point—without adding any length to it.
Comfort, Dialed In
Front compliance is up 30%, thanks to bowed fork legs and a smaller steerer tube. Out back, Scott borrowed a trick from the road-going Addict: a reduced seat-tube section, seat stays built to flex outward, and a top tube that allows slight upward deflection. That’s good for a claimed 60% gain in rear compliance with the stock rigid seatpost – 25% even over the old bike’s dedicated comfort post.
Refined Geometry
Stack and reach each grow 10mm, offset by a cockpit that’s 10mm shorter. The bottom bracket drops for the bigger tires, and fork rake increases to keep handling playful despite a longer front center. Chainstay length holds steady. The Addict Gravel now comes in seven sizes, XXS to XXL, and shares its riding position with the Addict road bike.
Ready for Anything
A Syncros Save the Day kit integrates into the downtube with a tube, levers, and mini-pump. The bar ends contain an Allen key and tubeless repair kit. A removable top tube bag carries the rest. New fork-leg bottle mounts shift water weight toward the steering axis, cutting inertia there by 35%, and every adjustment on the bike now runs off one integrated T25 key.
New Cockpit, Broader Ecosystem
The gravel-specific cockpit is optimized for the rougher roads. Forward sweep for wrist clearance in corners, a shorter reach, and a neutral shifter position that keeps the brake levers aligned with the drops. Small parts now cross over with the Addict and Addict RC, so spacers, stem covers, and cockpits swap freely between the three bikes.

Tech N Spec
Rethinking the Rim
Graff Aero 48 was the starting point, but Miche rebuilt the rim from scratch around a wider rim well and a new NACA airfoil, chasing a cleaner transition between rim and tire. Miche ran the wheel through the wind tunnel with 47mm and 50mm tires, at 30 and 40km/h, sweeping yaw angles from -20° to +20° in one-degree increments. With 47mm tires – Graff RD’s aero sweet spot – drag dropped 6.92% at 30km/h and 5.94% at 40km/h against Graff Aero 48. Even at 50mm, the new wheel still posted a 2.73-3.92% improvement. The shoulder section got a full redesign too, dimensionally reinforced against the stones and roots that road wheels never have to deal with.
A Wider, Lower-Pressure Platform
The internal rim well grows to 30mm hookless, built to support wider tires at lower pressures without losing carcass support. Miche says that translates to a more stable contact patch, better vibration absorption, and less fatigue over long days in the saddle – while the hookless design keeps weight in check.
VONOA Carbon Spokes and a Redesigned Hub
Graff RD borrows the carbon-spoke approach Miche debuted on Deva RD, but re-engineers the 4x1mm spokes specifically for gravel’s harder, more frequent impacts, laced 12+12 for lateral stiffness and instant power transfer.
The hub itself is new too: Ergal 7075 T6 bodies shaped to cut frontal area, a titanium pawl carrier out back, and micrometric bearing preload adjustment. Every Graff RD also runs new CeramicSpeed ALPHA bearings – silicon nitride balls Miche claims are up to 400% smoother, 128% harder, and 58% lighter than steel, good for up to 5x the service life of a conventional bearing.
Pricing & Availability
The Graff RD wheelset carries an MSRP of €2,500 (VAT included); USD and GBP pricing has not yet been disclosed. It’s available now through authorized Miche dealers in Wild Lilac, with a free four-year warranty extension upon registration.

Predictive maintenance meets your local wrench.
CrankPal, the Milan startup pairing predictive bike-component wear tracking with shop management software, announced its international expansion today, going live in 59 markets and 40 languages, from Europe and the Americas to Japan, South Korea, the Middle East, India, Australia, and South Africa. The rollout follows CrankPal’s Italian launch and a completed workshop pilot program that validated its patent-pending wear algorithm on real workbenches, not just in a lab. Founded by mechanics and cyclists, CrankPal builds two connected halves: free management software for shops, and an app that watches a bike’s health from the saddle.

Two Clocks, One Algorithm
CrankPal’s forecast engine (patent-pending, a 28-claim filing at the EU Patent Office) encodes mechanics’ own knowledge of wear by component and bike type. Then it layers on a statistical model that runs two clocks at once: distance ridden and time elapsed. Time matters, for example, a cable housing ages even while a bike sits in the garage. Every real repair logged by a network workshop feeds back into the model.
Umberto Javarone, founder and CEO, sez: “In aviation, nobody waits for the failure: every component has a known service life and gets replaced before it gives way. CrankPal brings that discipline to the people who ride and the people who repair.”
Samuele Roda, a mechanic at pilot workshop Sensus Bike, sez: “A bike came in flagged by the app for its chain, I put the wear gauge on it, and the stretch was exactly where it should be – due for replacement, just in time to save the cassette.”
Shop-First, for Now
The news that’s actually actionable today is for shop owners: the Free plan is live, self-serve, and requires no credit card. The cyclist app is technically live too, on the App Store in preview, but it’s free and fully useful only for customers of workshops already running CrankPal – everyone else waits for the public launch in Q3 2027, with a waiting list open now.

DT Swiss x Wahoo TRACKR SPEED
Your hub just got a memory for speed, even when GPS doesn’t.
DT Swiss and Wahoo teamed up on a rear-hub-optimized speed sensor, out of embargo today at 4pm CEST. It’s built on the same foundation as the Wahoo TRACKR SPEED, but DT Swiss wraps it in its own housing and swaps the disposable coin-cell battery for a rechargeable one – so there’s no digging through a junk drawer for a CR2032 the night before a big ride, and no dead sensor showing up mid-event because nobody thought to check it.
A 3-axis accelerometer reads hub rotation directly, which means speed and distance keep recording even when GPS drops out in tunnels, deep valleys, or under tree cover – no more staring at a bike computer that thinks you’ve stopped moving just because the satellites lost you. It pairs over both ANT+ and Bluetooth to a bike computer, smartwatch, or phone, and clips onto either a DICUT or SPLINE hub for a genuinely clean, integrated look rather than a bolt-on afterthought.

Charging is magnetic – clip the included TRACKR Charger to the sensor and it tops up without any cables to align or ports to hunt for. DT Swiss says one charge is good for up to 94 hours or roughly 3,000km, and the whole unit is IPX7-rated, so it shouldn’t blink at a wet gravel day. It comes in two versions, one tuned for DICUT hubs and one for SPLINE, and DT Swiss says compatibility covers a wide swath of its current and recent road and gravel wheel lineup with disc brakes – worth a compatibility check on DT Swiss’s site before you order if you’re running an older wheel.
